Walgreens University

I am very blessed to shop at a Walgreens with the nicest people and managers. Learning to play the WAGS game has definitely been a learning process. Even though the information is all out there, it’s a lot to learn and for me, the best way to learn is to just do it.
Here’s a good place to start learning…
Common Sense with Money – Understanding Walgreens Register
Today I learned:
- you have to have the same # of items as you do coupons
- register rewards count as coupons
- if you pay for an item (say a razor for example) with a RR you earned by purchasing the same razor earlier in the day, it will not print you out another RR. You have to split those purchases up. Buy the razor in the morning, get the rest of the things in the afternoon and pay with the RR. Buy another razor another day, rinse, repeat.
The managers at my WAGS were so helpful and took time to explain some of the ins and outs to help me maximize my savings.
My baby brother is over in Iraq and I LOVE collecting razors and other HBA for cheap to send over to him.
I am a walgreens fan today!
