Search subscribed blog content

I love blogs.  I read a lot of them.  We’ll leave the judgement of if it’s too many for another day.  I’ll also confess that I am a fast reader.  I skim read a bunch.  This is good – except when I want to go back and find some information that I read about.

I almost exclusively read my blogs in google reader.  Again, good for speed, but not much to help me identify where I read that nifty tip.

But wait!   what’s that in the upper left hand corner?  A search box???

reader

Could it be?  oh.. wow.. it is!!

Why would I be surprised… it is GOOGLE reader after all.

So I just type in what I’m looking for and it pulls up the relevant blog posts.  I use it a LOT.  Most often I search for ‘Walgreens’ to find all the wags coupon matchup posts for that week.

It works for me.

Be sure to check out Rocks in my Dryer for more usefulness than you can stand.

I don’t know how I survived before Google. Google Reader is definitely cool, and I don’t think you can follow too many blogs. I just started a love affair with googledocs, I should really write a post about it.
