I love to make lists.
This list is going to be a little bit like my grown up girl version of a Santa list.
Instead of Santa, I’m looking to God to make the deliveries (I find Him to be more reliable.. and that whole judging my heart and not just my actions thing… way better than Santa’s naughty/nice list…I’m usually somewhere in between)
In the days of old I would run out to Walmart and buy a cheap version of whatever I was after. I have been convicted that as a practice, this is not a good form of stewardship. Now, I’m going to make a list of the things I want/need (I sometimes confuse the two) and wait for direction. God is showing me that many times I can get better quality for less money, if I just open myself up to the possibilities.
In the past I’ve seen Him tell me to go ahead and buy the item and/or dropsthe exact sum of money I need into my lap, reveal an amazing sale, place it in my path at a yard sale or thrift store, or even just out right give it to me.
I’m excited to see what He thinks of my list.
